A really simple knitted stole

Etole Mohair

As a "Ravelry girl" asked me to translate this pattern, I share with all of you my English translation. Since nobody has checked it, do not hesitate to improve it if required, I thank you in advance!

Material:

  • Mohair Caresse Monoprix - 5 skeins = 250 g = 450 m / 495 yards (bulky mohair with gauge = 13 jersey stitches for 4 in / 10 cm, but other mohair yarns can be used with the same stitch pattern : just make a swatch to have the desired size)
  • Needles : US 10 / 6 mm
  • Tapestry needle

Stitch pattern:
On even number of stitches, always repeat this row :
P1 (edge stitch), *yo, P2tog*. Repeat from * to * throughout. SL1 (edge stitch)

Method:
Cast-on 50 stitches, and knit the 5 skeins right, following the stitch pattern.
Weave in ends.
Steam block lightly, and manually stretch out to fix the first and last rows at the same width as the other rows.
The finished stole measures 52 x 172 cm.

If you use a lace yarn and would like a very open and light effect, you can also block following the perfect method from Eunny Knit website.

Enjoy... and show us your FO!
